went out with johnny pi after work today. put the aero bars on wanting to go to tamaques but he wanted to do shunpike rd so i sgreed with him. havent done climbing around here in a while so figured it would be good. started off ok, but my legs and ankles felt sore and tired. dont know how much of that was from work or the accidents. either way i felt tired.
it was a good course. but i know all the horrible eating ive been doing has been damaging me. also, maybe i should have lifted this off season. my legs just dont feel as strong as they did. i have spurts where i feel great but then there are the days i dont have any sustainable power. who knows. had a lot of trauma to my legs these past 3-4 weeks. may just think im over it when im not and need more time to heal.
one thing that made me feel better though. i got home and took the aero bars off. they were pinching the brake cables! especially the front brake. when i squeezed it, the brake stayed closed. that may have been causing friction and the slow feeling. i hope so. ride;
