well i got out on the last day of summer in my mind today. summer doesnt end on labor day for me, its the end of august. september just sounds like fall you know? anyway.

i rode home from somerville this morning getting in a little over 8 miles. but thats not all. chose to ride with the club tonight for the last race of the season. had to ride there since eric is MIA after his wheel problems. asking to ride with a C group and not the C+ group may have helped me out a bit during the ride.

me chain popped off, again. it happened half way through the second lap right before the second of three small climbs. this time though i chose to quickly pull over and put it back on. hopping back on my bike i knew there was work to do to catch the group. working possibly harder than i have all season i caught them! my lungs were on fire! not to boast, im proud of this. it took a lot of work to catch.

here comes fall!
