went out for the last ride of the year after getting out of work early today. figured i would get in a few more miles and burn some calories for the eating that would take place later tonight. headed out with the wind blowing pretty hard. decided on my way home that a good way to end the year would be to climb zion. despite being cold and the wind making the ride tiring my climb up zion impressed me. big wheel second gear. this was a gear that during the summer i was shocked that my legs could get the pedals around in. just shows me how far ive developed this year.

great year though. did a lot of tours, raised a good amount of money, accomplished all my goals, and did more miles than i originally wanted to by far. dont know what moment was my favorite but giving a quick thought id say getting to the top of warrenville rd and screaming "fuck you!!" as if the hill had personally offended me the year before when i had to walk up it. another moment was my exploding during my last time trial for century in the summer. something came out of me that day that i cant wait to build on. and another moment was sitting in the field at the rest stop during the covered bridges ride then at the end laying in the parking lot with mike and ed.
